Vita Coco is being sued for $5 million for false advertising. The company, who is endorsed by Rihanna, is using labels that claim one thing but they fail to deliver. The company advertises that it is healthy, filed with electrolytes, and hydrating but studies have soon that the product is 85%-35% lower in all levels than they have stated on their labels. Vita Coco isn’t the only company being sued for the same reason, only one of four coconut water companies actually give consumers what the label promises.
