(Video) Trinidad James Apologies To New York City Directly For His Disrespectful ‘ATL Runs NY’ Rant
Trinidad James recently caused a whole bunch of controversy after he said that Atlanta runs New York City during a performance… IN NYC! (The nerve) Well, today the “All Gold Everything” rapper posted up an video via his Twitter account called “The Truth Will Set You Free” with an attempt to clear the air for the second time this week. He admits that since he only has one smash-hit and no album that he has no real room to disrespect such an important state in Hip-Hop history and how he still wants to be able to make money while he’s here, amongst other things. The two went back and forth on twitter, with TJ assuming that Maino was, “going to shoot” him. Things are getting hot and heavy! The Hot 97 Morning Show got Maino on the dial for him to express his emotions on the discussion at hand. “We just wanna take him to the dentist,” Maino yelps. LOL! I think everyone does. Trinidad James has started some s**t! After doing a New York show last night, the lover of sneakers stated that down south rappers run NY! I’m all for opinions, but there is a time, place and way of saying and doing everything. One NYC rapper in particular is not feeling this! This morning I glanced at #MY twitter where I saw that Maino was really feeling some type of way about TJ’s comments and how New York responded. “S/O to all the NY niggas who let this Rotten Teeth nigga @TrinidadJamesGG disrespect us lastnite! #whathappened…” The, “What Happened” emcee then went on to tweet, “Somebody wake @TAXSTONE up tell’em this nasty mouth nigga @TrinidadJamesGG is on the menu. #whathappened.” Well, TJ got wind of these tweets and had a response, but this is Maino…he wasn’t finished.
