Today in Washington a huge group of mothers marched their way to the U.S Capital in efforts to demand change across the nation for all police departments to abide by the same rules and regulations and to most importantly put an end to police brutality. Most of these women have endured their children being injured or killed by police. Maria Hamilton, whose son was killed by a Milwaukee officer last year organized this march in which they are calling “Million Moms March Against Police Brutality”. And these moms want justice! “Hold these police officers accountable for killing our children. #BringBackOurGirls 365 days ago, 276 girls were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the Nigerian town of Chibok by the Islamic terrorist group, Boko Haram. With the one-year anniversary upon us, 219 of the missing girls remain missing and the people of the country continue to make noise for a solution. In the Nigerian city of Abuja and within U.S. capitals, such as Washington, marches have been planned and taken place early Tuesday morning. The march involves 219 girls, who represent each of the girls that have yet to be found.
