There’s always some troll on Twitter who takes a picture at major sporting events and asks for retweets so they can do something crazy.  Well this time they messed with the wrong person.  The troll took a picture of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban during their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.  He said he would slap Cuban if he got 200 RT’s.  Well several people @’d Cuban with the tweet and Cuban decided to clap back at the troll.

With the NBA’s new TV deal worth $24 billion and the subsequent rise in the salary cap, Kevin Durant suggested they should get rid of max contracts in the new CBA.  Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban countered that argument saying if they get rid of max contracts then players have to give up guaranteed contracts as well.  Kevin Durant is apparently not fond of that idea.

With the new NBA TV deal and the players ability to opt-out and renegotiate the collective bargaining agreement slowly approaching, there’s been plenty of discussion about player contracts and some big changes that could be made.  Kevin Durant suggested that there should no longer be max contracts, therefore eliminating the limit on how much players could be offered.  Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban had a counter for that suggestion and said if that goes through then contracts should no longer be guaranteed.
