There has been talk for some time now, but last evening on Conan, Martin Lawrence made the official announcement that Bad Boys 3 is in the works. “I just talked to Jerry [Bruckheimer] yesterday. He said it’s real,” says the comedian. “They’re working on a script, they’re getting closer…it all looks good.” Can you say – clutch! I will be there to watch this on opening night. Well, it seems that Sony is looking to hire the writers of “Safe House” to cook up another sequel to the Bad Boys franchise. In particular, they are scouting David Guggenheim to draft the script. So far, this is the only word regarding another movie, and it’s still very unclear whether Martin Lawrence or Will Smith will sign on.
