Lebron shrugged off the disappointment from having the Miami Heat’s win streak broken by the Bulls and unleashed on the New Orleans Hornets. The Heat had a blowout 108-89 win over the Hornets but what’s shocking is that 23 of his 36 points were accrued in less than six minutes. Check it out after the jump.
The weather is beautiful outside, so why not bring back a throwback commercial to compliment the weather. This commercial was released in 2009 by Footlocker that features Kevin Durant (Velvet Hoop), Andre Iguondala (Chief-Blocka), Rashard Lewis (Ice-O), Mo Williams (Fog Raw), with the legendary DJ Quik. I guarantee you that you will laugh while watching this commercial, there is too much swag in it for you not too. Watch the Hyperizers in their “Don’t Criticize (Hyperize)” commercial after the jump…
On Friday President Obama had a speaking engagement in Miami, Florida. Everyone knows the president is a big basketball fan and keeps up with the happenings around the league and college ball. Obama is also a Chicago native and was sure to mention the Bulls ending the Miami Heat’s win streak at 27 games. He didn’t want to get on the Florida’s bad side so he also mentioned the great season the Miami Hurricanes had as well the Florida Gators and the cinderella story of FGCU. Check it out after the jump.
This story doesn’t look like it is going to die anytime soon. After Lebron made some complaints about fouls against him during the Heat loss to the Chicago Bulls, many people chimed in with their opinion. Some players have spoken on it, fans, and even Celtics GM Danny Ainge. I am really hoping at some point during the playoffs the Celtics and Heat will face off. It would be a very intense series. See what Lebron & Ainge said after the jump.
