(Photos) Sports: Athletes React to No Indictment in the Michael Brown Case

On Monday night during a lengthy speech, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch announced that the grand jury decided not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager, Michael Brown.  McCulloch then explained some of the evidence the grand jury was presented with and what led to their decision.  The announcement sent anger, rage and disappointment through many people who felt Wilson was guilty in the unlawful death of Brown.  Social media has been one of the main catalyst used to distribute information and feelings on the case.  Last night athletes react to no indictment in the Michael Brown case.  Several athletes took to Twitter and Instagram to give their thoughts on the matter.  There was a mixture of anger, confusion and frustration, as well as prayers for Mike Brown and his family.

On Monday night it was announced that the grand jury decided not to charge police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown.  The decision bought a wave of emotions through numerous people many of whom felt like Wilson unlawfully killed Brown.  Many people took to their Twitter accounts to express their feelings in the matter including Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson who compared his child abuse case to Darren Wilson in Ferguson.

No Indictment Filed Against Officer Darren Wilson in the Ferguson shooting. Officer Darren Wilson was cleared of all charges in the fatal August 9th shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown by the grand jury Monday night.


Wow – Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson Got Married Last Month Outside Of St. Louis

While Michael Brown’s parents continue to grieve the loss of their son, his killer Darren Wilson is still a free man on paid leave from work, and despite being in hiding – managed to get married last month! Records show that 28-year-old Wilson married 37-year-old fellow Ferguson officer Barbara Spradling on October 24 in Clayton, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, and one of the two witnesses at the ceremony was one of Darren’s lawyers, Greg Kloeppel. Records also indicate that both were previously married, with Darren’s marriage having been finalized last November. The above photo is from his that wedding in 2011. The grand jury for the murder of Mike Brown has been meeting and are said to be coming to a decision soon on whether Darren Wilson actually committed a crime. I hope they throw the book at this guy!

Yikes, Fergusons Grand Jury Still Has No Answers! As the Ferguson Protests continue, the Grand Jury has yet to make a decision on whether or not police officer Darren Wilson should be indicted for the unlawful murder of teenage Michael Brown that occurred on August 9th this year. The public is extremely disappointed about the amount of time it has taken for officials to end this case; they want answers!


Ferguson Protestors Arrested As They Await Grand Jury’s Decision To Indict Officer; Resignation Discussed

Today [Nov. 21], there is a possibility that the grand jury in the Michael Brown Ferguson shooting are expected to release a decision as to if officer Darren Wilson will be indicted or not for the teen’s execution. The group of Wilson’s peers are allowed to meet up until January, however patience is running thin. Since the horrid day of Brown’s death, the city of Ferguson as been incited with riots, protests and arrests. With the decision waiting to be heard, more arrests have gone underway. Chants of, “Killer cops have got to go!” and more have forced police to arrest two more individuals. Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has declared a state of emergency and called in 400 National Guard troops to back up police. Hoping to keep the peace, Brown’s father has released a statement for protestors to remain calm. Check it out down bottom.
