NBA: If Knicks Coach Mike Woodson Loses His Job, Here’s His Rumored Replacement!

I don’t like to see anyone lose their job, so let’s hope that things turn around for Knicks head coach Mike Woodson.  BUT if they don’t, there’s already of rumors of who could take his place.  Apparently, there’s two people.  Check it out & let us know what you think the Knicks should do…

NBA: Mike Woodson Ain’t Playing Games! Calls Out Iman Shumpert & Amar’e Stoudemire

The Knicks are just playing awful right now and it is hard to watch. Hard for fans, players and especially coaches. Coach Woodson has enough to stress about, besides worrying about what his players are saying in public to the media. After some comments were made by players about how the Knicks lost to Portland earlier this week, coach gave his players one simple order. Hit the jump.

NBA: Wait, WHAT? Metta World Peace Didn’t Know Who The Knicks Coach Was?

We all know Metta can say some crazy sounding things so I am not sure what to make of this. Let’s just say if the Knicks continue their losing ways and coach Mike Woodson finds himself out of a job, I don’t think Metta would miss him too much. Hit the jump for more.

NBA: Knicks Coach Mike Woodson Fined $25,000 For Speaking About Melo & Refs!

Mike Woodson has his player’s backs, but it will cost him in his paycheck. Woodson was fined $25,000 for speaking about the treatment his star player Carmelo Anthony is getting from the refs. In an interview Thursday on ESPN New York 98.7 FM’s “The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show,” Woodson said that Carmelo Anthony isn’t getting “superstar” calls. “Absolutely. And I’m not going to shy away from that, either. I think Melo gets hit more than ever,” Woodson said in his weekly radio spot.”I’ve been at this thing 30 years, and sometimes I’m starting to wonder what’s a foul and what’s not a foul.” The criticism came after the Knicks lost to the Pacers, in which a game Carmelo was clearly hit multiple times during the game and was getting no calls. He does have a point though. It is ashame the NBA can fine a coach for speaking his opinion. He never trashed the refs, just said he did not agree with the way they were calling the game. You have to love a coach that will stand up for his guys.

NBA: Report, NBA GM’s & Knicks Staff Go IN On JR Smith’s Brother Chris!

I have been waiting for this topic to come up within the Knicks organization. Apparently I am not the only one either, judging by some comments made by General Managers from around the league. I have personally wondered since last season what provoked the Knicks to keep JR Smith’s younger brother Chris, around the team. He clearly is not an NBA player. That is not a diss, it is just a fact. What makes this story more concerning is it seems members of the actual Knicks staff also are wondering why he is there. Hit the jump.

NBA: Mike Woodson Has A Message For JR Smith & His Twitter Account!

Mike Woodson is clearly getting fed up with JR Smith and his antics. Late last week he had a closed door meeting with JR and his brother Chris where he was very blunt with the brothers. JR has not been in good standing in New York since the playoffs last year when he was out partying and then got suspended for a game and pretty much played terrible the rest of the playoffs. He obviously has all-star level talent and coach Woodson just wants the focus to be on that. Hit the jump for the message he gave JR.
