Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is officially reinstated back into the league but it’s already been made clear that he does not want to remain with the team. The Vikings aren’t keen on trading him and would require a lot in return if they did decide to make the move. There is mutual interest between Peterson and the Dallas Cowboys and it isn’t shy about letting it be known.

Running back Adrian Peterson has officially been reinstated into the NFL after his child abuse case. While Peterson is eager to get back on the field, he prefers it not be for the Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately for him, the team is intent on keeping him but if they do decide to trade Peterson, they have a very steep asking price.

Given the way the NFL likes to pick & choose when they feel like handing out discipline, I doubt this will fall under tampering, but it is pretty odd that the Dallas Cowboys twitter would talk about how Adrian Peterson being reinstated would make the Cowboys a contender. Peterson was officially reinstated earlier today. He is still a member of the Vikings so not sure how that makes Dallas a contender unless there are things in the works behind the scenes. But if so would Jerry Jones and the Cowboys be dumb enough to allow a tweet possibly signaling that to go out? Sports are full or rumors and this is just another one but it is intriguing.
