However her most recent honor, Billboard’s “Innovator” Award, seemed to have touched the legendary emcee more than any in the past. After being presented the award by Ciara, Missy Elliot gave an emotional acceptance speech in which she thanked everyone from, Pharrell and Timbaland to her late friend Aaliyah and all the female artists that helped pave the way for her. Ever since Pharrell confirmed he has been in the studio with Missy cooking up some heat, we know it was coming but didn’t know exactly when. TMZ obtained video footage of the “Work It” rapstress recording her music video for hew new song entitled “WTF.” She was apparently dressed in a shiny suit while filming in Downtown Los Angeles. Are we surprised? Nope.
