Gunplay is currently in police custody after turning himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest for two gun possession charges which could land him in jail for the rest of his life.. During one of the incidents, Gunplay pistol-whipped his own accountant before robbing him of his cell phone and a gold chain. Gunplay, whose real name is Richard Morales Jr., was caught on tape looking all sorts of crazy while assaulting his accountant after he gave the rapper some news he clearly didn’t want to hear. As we reported earlier, MMG rapper Gunplay turned himself in today on an arrest warrant for assault stemming from May. His team advised him to do so before his concert in Atlanta this weekend, as the G-Unit fight had put him on their police department’s radar. They weren’t aware of his warrant at the time of the fight, and had let him go after handcuffing him. Now that they were fully in the know, they likely would have been at the show and arrested him just before or after his performance. No word on how long he’ll be behind bars. Marisa Mendez
