J.J. Abrams, Paramount Developing Lance Armstrong Movie !!! ‘Cycle Of Lies’ !!
The movie would be based on “Cycle of Lies,” the forthcoming investigative account from “New York Times” reporter Juliet Macur. The Lance Armstrong story is getting a renewed push to the big screen in the wake of his admission to Oprah that he used performance enhancing drugs (PED). Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot have secured the movie rights to the proposal for The New York Times sportswriter Juliet Macur’s forthcoming book Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. I can seriously see Pacino killing this role! With a little hollywood magic Pacino will look exactly like Joe Paterno. The tentative title of the movie is going to be “Happy Valley”, but that could change. Hopefully the movie will be more about Paterno and not so much about the Jerry Sandusky issue, which is what let to the demise of Paterno. The movie is going to be based mostly of the novel “Paterno” written by Joe Posnanski. The movie will team Pacino with Scarface director Brian De Palma.
