NBA: A Possible 82-Game Season Even With December Start Date?

Everyone is becoming increasingly disgruntled with the NBA lockout.  With the first two weeks gone and more expected to be canceled everyone has a right to be upset.  I would to see basketball come back but I’m not too keen on a 50-game season.  Well according to sources David Stern has assured ESPN and TNT that he can still deliver an 82-game season even if it begins in December.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl


NBA: Owners Appear Willing to Sit Out Entire NBA Season

NBA labor talks broke down on Thursday after negotiations got pretty heated.  According to Billy Hunter the owners told the union they had to accept a 50-50 BRI split before they would even begin discussing the system.  That’s pretty ridiculous.  The small market teams vastly outnumber the big market teams and they’re pretty insistent on a hard cap and other “necessities” that will even the playing field and eliminate the loss of revenue.  They’re even willing to miss the whole season if that’s what it takes.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
