NBA: LeBron James Responds to Kevin Love Picking Russell Westbrook Over Him For MVP Award

Talks about a rift between teammates LeBron James and Kevin Love continue to heat up.  From LeBron reportedly calling out Kevin to Love saying he and James aren’t best friends, the reports seem to be true.  Love also picked Russell Westbrook over LeBron for this year’s MVP award.  Here’s LeBron’s response to that.

(Video) NBA: Stephen Curry Says He Would Vote For LeBron James as the MVP If He Couldn’t Pick Himself

Stephen Curry joined The Dan Patrick Show and of course the topic of the MVP race came up.  Curry is one of the frontrunners along with James Harden and Russell Westbrook.  Curry said he believes players should have a vote in the race.  When asked who he would pick if he couldn’t choose himself or teammate Klay Thompson, he went with the King.

NBA: Chris Paul on MVP Race: “I just need to win a championship. You can have whatever else”

Chris Paul was once dubbed the best point guard in the league but now he’s being outshined by Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry, both of whom have been mentioned in the MVP debates.  On Wednesday night however during the Clippers game against the Thunder, it was Paul who outshined Westbrook scoring a game-high 33 points to go along with nine assists while holding Westbrook, who was averaging 40 points over his past five games, to 24 and forcing him into a season-high 10 turnovers.  Of course one game isn’t enough to catapult Paul’s name into the MVP conversation but that’s not his concern right now.

NBA: Chandler Parsons Says James Harden is the Best Player Right Now & the MVP

Chandler Parsons and James Harden had a tense exchange via the media this past summer when the Houston Rockets declined to match the Dallas Mavericks offer sheet.  Harden took the side of the Rockets who felt Parsons wasn’t the final piece of the Big 3 and that he was a replaceable role player.  Apparently they’ve worked out those issues amongst each other and Parsons spoke very highly of his former teammate even saying he’d choose Harden as the league MVP.

NBA: David Blatt Says LeBron James is the Greatest Player in the Game & Should Be in MVP Talks

There’s been talk about a rift between LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt.  Well it looks like that’s over with as the Cleveland Cavaliers have turned their season around, winning their seventh game in a row with Tuesday’s 103-95 road victory over the Detroit Pistons.  Now Cavs coach David Blatt believes it’s time for the narrative surrounding LeBron James’ campaign to change as well. Specifically, Blatt wants to know why James’ name doesn’t appear in the MVP conversation more often.
