Not too long ago, LeBron James said the Cleveland Cavaliers weren’t ready for the playoffs.  Now his teammate and fellow star Kyrie Irving, says the Cavs are the “team to beat”.

The Memphis Grizzlies were shorthanded, having only eight players and missing key guys including Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, and Mike Conley.  Still they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-103 on Monday night.  The Cavs remain the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference but with losses like this to the Grizzlies as well as the losses to the Wizards and the Raptors, their leader LeBron James notes that they aren’t ready for the playoffs.

Just when we thought Derrick Rose’s injury ridden career was just about over; he hits a bank 3 point shot to give the Chicago Bulls a 2-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The momentum seems to have shifted towards the Bulls and somehow Lebron James and his Cavs have become the underdogs.


NBA: Clippers Edge Spurs, Even Series

Falling 3-1 to the Spurs was the last thing that the Los Angeles Clippers wanted to do in Sunday’s game. Chris Paul was the leading scorer of the game with 34 points on 11 for 19 shooting and had seven assist . He helped lead his team to 114-105 victory over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs and evened the series 2-2.


NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers Sweep Celtics, Advance To Second Round

The Boston Celtics put up a good fight but the talent, strength and abilities of the Cleveland Cavaliers proved to be too much for the young team; they were swept in the first round. Hats off to the Boston Celtics, who finished their season with the second best record since January only behind the Cavs.


NBA: Jimmy Butler Hits Playoff Career High For Points

Currently the front runner for Most Improved Player Award for 2014-2015 NBA season, Jimmy Butler; has had an amazing season thus far. Butler has kept Chicago relevant in the Eastern Conference while Derrick Rose has been in and out of the starting line-up. It’s no surprise that Butler hits a playoff career high in points in a Game 4 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks.
