There’s been a lot of drama surrounding Johnny Football lately and today he addressed the press at the SEC Media Day as to why he left the Manning Passing Camp early this past weekend. Rumors were that he was drunk and partying, but his explanation this morning was that he “just overslept” because his cell phone died. He also talked about his new fame being difficult to deal with and he feels like Justin Bieber (ohhh ok). He also made it clear that he was “absolutely not” hungover (ESPN has the full story). He handled everything very well for someone that has been criticized and under the microscope. Talent runs deep in this family I guess. Snoop Dogg ( or should I say Snoop Lion ) son Cordell Broadus, who will graduate high school in 2015 is being offered multiple big time College football scholarships. And word on the street is this kid is not just getting offers that come with being the child of a celebrity, he is the truth! It does not matter how famous your parents are, if you aren’t big time on the field, schools like LSU, Oregon State, USC, Tennessee and others are not going to waste a scholarship offer on you. He is the #7 ranked prospect at his position of wide receiver in the entire country! Yeah, the boy can ball. He is 6’3, 180 pounds and runs the 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds. NCAA:(Video) Heisman Trophy Winner Johnny Manziel Is Everywhere
I guess when you win the biggest award in college football, you should except to be given much more attention than before. Johnny Manziel is handling it all in stride. He has been up close and personal in the media ever since winning the award back in December. When he was in high school, he was being recruited just as much for baseball as he was football. Well after seeing him at the San Diego Padres stadium yesterday, it looks like he could still play baseball. According to sources he hit a homerun during batting practice, and then re-enacted his famous play against Alabama last season, as he threw out the first pitch. Watch it after the jump.
