Kanye West has been on a roll and now people can’t stop talking about him after his amazing Time 100 Gala performance. After covering Time 100 Most Influential People he was invited to perform at the Gala honoring the annual list of the 100 most influential people in the entire world. After a Tim McGraw performance the show started off with Mr. West walking on stage with James Brown’s “Its a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” playing. Showered in an aura of orange-yellowish light Ye’ proceeded to perform one of his newest tracks “All Day”. Surrounded by African American males covered in white chalk Kanye then performed 3 tracks from his most recent album “Yeezus” “Black Skinhead”, “New Slaves”, and “Blood on the Leaves”. The outspoken rapper opened up the floor for debate, declaring the second verse on his Yeezus-cut “New Slaves” the best rap verse of all time in the history of rap music. That’s quite a bold claim, no? Read the lyrics below and decide for yourself.
