The Knicks took on the Raptors last night and although it was just a preseason game it had the feel of something much greater.  It was Andrea Bargnani’s first game back in Toronto since being traded to the Knicks this past offseason.  Former Knick Landry Fields crossed up Tim Hardaway Jr. then drove to the basket where he was blocked by Josh Powell.  Ironic considering what Tim Hardaway Sr. used to do peoples’ ankles, welcome to the league Junior… Check it out after the jump.


NBA: Tyson Chandler Using Getting His ‘A** Kicked’ By Roy Hibbert as Motivation

The Knicks made it to the second round of the playoffs where they faced a very tough Indiana Pacers team.  One thing that was duly noted before the matchup is how big the Pacers are and how much production the Knicks would need from their big man Tyson Chandler.  Well it didn’t happen.  Chandler averaged just six points and six rebounds in the series and was totally dominated by the Pacers center Roy Hibbert.  Now Chandler is using it as motivation going forward.  Read more after the jump.


NBA: Bernard King Says Injuries Will Determine Whether the Knicks or Nets Are the Better Team

The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets rivalry is being pushed strongly by the media and fans alike.  With the addition of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Nets and Andrea Bargnani and Metta World Peace to the Knicks and both teams already having a stacked squad, the question remains who will come out on top next season.  Bernard King was asked his take on the situation and said injuries will be the key.
