NFL: Eyewitness Says Josh Brent Was Initially Reluctant To Help Jerry Brown In Deadly Crash
An eyewitness, Stacee McWilliams, wants people to know that Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent is not a hero. Reports said that after Josh flipped his car and it caught on fire he was trying to help his teammate Jerry Brown out of the car to safety. McWilliams has a different spin on the story. I don’t know what to think of this eyewitness account. I’m sure she’s telling the truth, but at the same time I think Josh Brent was in shock and didn’t know what to do. Not everyone responds to situations the same. The two were reportedly like brothers, so I can’t see him doing this on purpose. GameTimeGirl

NFL: 49ers Suspend Disgruntled Brandon Jacobs For Final 3 Games; Jacobs Responds By Tweet
The 49ers have suspended RB Brandon Jacobs on Monday for the final three games of the season after a series of posts on social media sites (Instagram and Twitter) addressing his lack of playing time this past weekend. Jacobs had posted a few pic on Instagram while he was on the Giants along with a pic of his Super Bowl rings then said, “I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners,” Jacobs said. “This is by far the worst year I ever had, I’ll tell you like I told plenty others.” He then took to Twitter to defend what he posted, but Niners don’t care. The 49ers made the announcement about two hours after coach Jim Harbaugh’s news conference, but provided no explanation for why Jacobs had been disciplined.
