Drake and Nicki Minaj fans have been going wild! After an article from, Interview Magazine quoted the “Royals” singer, Lorde as saying, Drake, Niki Minaj and Lana Del Rey’a music is, “irrelevant.” The interview that was done a while back, also states, “They all sing about such opulence, stuff that just didn’t relate to me – or anyone that I knew.” Well, Lorde has a response for people that responded with the backlash. “Nice try,” she begins. Last night was literally a who’s who of some of the biggest names in entertainment as Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ show rolled through The Staples Center in Los Angeles. Aside from sightings like Birdman, Wiz Khalifa and Snoop, other big names in the building spoke loudly to rumors surrounding the Nothing Was The Same rapper. As you may have heard, word on the street for months is that there was a rift between Drizzy and his Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, but not only was she spotted taking in the show, she was also a special guest on stage! Also in attendance was Rihanna, so clearly there’s no bad blood after photos hit of Drake allegedly having an ‘intimate night‘ with Zoe Kravitz. Drake and Rih have been said to be rekindling their past romance as of late, and this only speaks to that even more. Also spotted was Jaden Smith, who as we know from the VMAs is a HUGE Drake fan, so that’s super cute he got to attend. While Khloe’s sis Kim Kardashian becomes besties with Nicki’s lookalike Blac Chyna, this friendship is super cute as well, as it could make for a whole clique of bad b*tches. Not to mention, as Khloe goes through such a rough time with her troubled husband Lamar Odom, someone strong with a take-no-ish attitude like Nicki is great to surround herself with, don’t you think? Guess Which Rapper’s Mom Is Readying A Gospel Single!
Nicki Minaj’s mother Carol Maraj went through a lot with Nicki’s father, including long bouts with domestic violence. She has since emerged as a survivor, and now wants to spread the message through her charity organization, The Carol Maraj Foundation, as well as her music. Carol is readying a gospel career, and on Saturday, November 23rd, will headline the ‘God’s Been Good’ concert at the St. Anthony Baptist Church in New York.
