Weekly Top 10 Album Sales … Adele Moves Close To A MILLION Units Of “21”, Whitney Houston At #2

This is just insane! Adele moved an additional 730 THOUSAND units of her now YEAR old album, “21”, following her performance at the Grammy’s. This is the 21st time the album has reached number one on the charts since its release last February. Whitney Houston is always seeing a lot of sales in the wake of her passing, moving 175k units of “Whitney: The Greatest Hits”, coming in at number 2 on the charts. Weekly Top 10 Album Sales … Adele Still #1, Whitney Makes Her Way Into The Top

Adele had quite the presence at the Grammy’s over the weekend, winning 6 out of 6 of her nominations and performing for the first time in quite a while. Needless to say, her album scored yet another week at number one this week…with a 95% sales gain, obviously due in part to the show. “21” sold an additional 237k and not only that, but her previous album is back in the Top 10 as well! Weekly Top 10 Album Sales … She’s STILL Number One!!!

Even with highly buzzed about newcomer Lana Del Rey’s debut album dropping this week, Adele managed to hold tight to her number one spot, leaving Lana to come in at number 2. Adele pushed an astounding 122k again this week…and the album will hit one YEAR since its release two weeks from today. Isn’t that insane? For the SEVENTEENTH week, Adele’s “21” hits the number one spot. It’s truly insane how well this album continues to sell, with next month making it a year since it’s been on the charts. “21” sold an additional 95k this week, securing that number one spot. Weekly Top 10 Album Sales … Adele Ties With Titanic Soundtrack For 16 Weeks At #1

Adele’s “21” hits number one on the Billboard 200 with 104k sold for its 16th time, tieing with the “Titanic” soundtrack that achieved that rank in 1998.
