NBA labor talks broke down on Thursday after negotiations got pretty heated.  According to Billy Hunter the owners told the union they had to accept a 50-50 BRI split before they would even begin discussing the system.  That’s pretty ridiculous.  The small market teams vastly outnumber the big market teams and they’re pretty insistent on a hard cap and other “necessities” that will even the playing field and eliminate the loss of revenue.  They’re even willing to miss the whole season if that’s what it takes.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
