(Photo) NBA: LOL, Stats Show JR Smith Plays Much Better After Lil Wayne Releases New Projects

Why does this sound like a story only JR Smith could find himself involved in? They say numbers never lie, although they occasionally do, but the facts show JR Smith is literally a better player immediately after Lil Wayne drops a new album or mixtape.

(Video) NBA: Ty Lawson Smokes Hookah & Says He Is Going To Sacramento When Nuggets Draft Emmanuel Mudiay

Ty Lawson had a hilarious reaction last night during the Nuggets pick in the NBA Draft. He had a camera on him as they announced the pick and he just continued to smoke his hookah calmly and proclaimed he is out of Denver.

(Video) NBA: This Is Dope! Check The Trailer For The “IVERSON” Documentary

Showtime did a great job with the Kobe Bryant “Muse” documentary, so I only expect great things when they air the “Iverson” doc on May 16th. Allen Iverson’s impact on the NBA as a whole is still to this day very underrated, not too mention his greatness as a player. He never really had a great supporting cast and he never complained. He might not have liked “practice” so much, but when it was game time, he went harder than anyone and played much bigger than his 6 foot frame. Check out the trailer below.

NBA: Report, Clippers Sign Nate Robinson To 10-Day Contract

The LA Clippers are 40-22, 2nd in the Pacific Division and currently No. 5 in the Western Conference standings. And today, they’ve reportedly added what they hope is the missing piece to the puzzle, signing free agent guard Nate Robinson to a 10-day contract. Personally I am not sure Nate helps them much considering the type of players they have, but at the very least he will provide good energy off the bench. The deal was announced just a short time ago and new teammate Matt Barnes already welcomed him via twitter. Check the gallery!

NBA: Report, Denver Nuggets Ty Lawson Arrested For DUI

Ty Lawson was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of DUI. According to the police report, a Denver PD officer spotted Lawson going 61 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, so he pulled him over. The officer says Lawson admitted to having consumed alcohol prior to driving. From the sounds of it, Lawson was wasted.

(Video) NBA: Sheesh, Ty Lawson Breaks Kirk Hinrich’s Ankles

While Chicago Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich is usually one of the toughest on-ball defenders in the NBA, Ty Lawson felt otherwise and definitely let us know. Lawson, with a sick in and out move, BROKE Hinrich’s ankles and pride! It was so smooth, Lawson didn’t even know Hinrich had fallen. Hit the jump to check out what went down at the Pepsi Center.

(Photos) NBA: LOL, Denver Nuggets Troll Lebron, Kyrie Irving & Kevin Love Before Tonight’s Game

Whoever is running the Denver Nuggets twitted account needs a pat on the back after this troll job they did on Lebron and the rest of the big 3 from Cleveland. The Nuggets host the Cavs tonight and it is no secret Lebron is good for business even for opposing teams. Fans come out to watch Lebron but the Nuggets account wanted to make sure fans knew who the real important players for the Cavs are. It is actually pretty funny. Hit the jump.

(Video) NBA: Biggest Triple Flop You’ll EVER See – Almost Looks Fake! LOL

The NBA might have just recorded its first triple flop in the books, following Monday’s Denver and Sacramento game. Kenneth Faried, Rudy Gay, and DeMarcus Cousins took flopping to ANOTHER level, looking choreographed after a few views LOL! Hit the jump to check out the flop…

NBA: So Disrespectful! Pistons Josh Smith Goes Off On Kenneth Faried!

I guess it is safe to say these two do not like each other. More so seems like Josh Smith doesn’t like Kenneth Faried. Smith fired back at Faried after he made comments regarding Smith’s game after the Nuggets defeated the Pistons earlier this week. Faried kept his talk to basketball but Smith clearly was not feeling it and held nothing back and got personal!

NBA: LeBron On Opening Against Carmelo Anthony In Cleveland – “That’s How It Should Be”

LeBron James played his first Cleveland home game back in 2003, against fellow rookie and friend Carmelo Anthony. So, the star pair go WAYY back, resulting in interrogation of King James. When asked about about playing his boy on the court in this Thursday’s opener, he responded “That’s how it should be…me seeing a great friend of mine and competing against him.” Hit the jump for more juice on LeBron’s story!
