To prepare for his big debut as the host and musical guest on SNL, Drizzy Drake stopped by the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to chop it up. The Toronto native reminisces on how his first time smoking weed was the same day as his “Degrassi” audition and he even plays Jimmy in an intense game of Beer Hockey (a mix between beer pong and air hockey.) I swear between Instagram models, Twitter celebrities, and chicks who become famous for smashin’ rappers, everybody is “available for bookings” now-a-days. Well, we have yet another one added to the list who you’ll be able to see in a club near you. After the identity of the infamous “Courtney from Hooters on Peachtree” that Drake speaks about in his “From Time” track was revealed, she has been gaining a ton of buzz. Welp folks, you guessed it. Courtney is now using her new-found fame to get club bookings and hosting gigs. Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” Goes Platinum

The YMCMB rapper’s smash-hit, “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” hit the Platinum mark after selling more than 100,000,000 units. The song, which is featured on his recent album Nothing Was The Same, is currently holding down the #5 spot on the charts. Congrats, Drizzy! Well-deserved.


Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/29/13 … Congrats To Drake On The #1 Album!

Drake went gold his first week out, moving a whopping 658k units of his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, this past week. It makes for the second highest overall debut this year (trailing Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience which did 968k), the highest rap debut and most importantly, Drizzy’s personal best sales week. His last album, 2011’s Take Care, started at number 1 with 631k, while his debut album, Thank Me Later, launched at number 1 with 447k in 2010. He just keeps on getting better!
