She says that while she was in the bathroom, Omar Mateen asked if any of the people in there were African Americans. She was too afraid to speak. The man said that he did not want them to think this shooting was about African Americans because it wasn’t. He said they had already been through.

Omar Mateen’s wife, Noor Zahi Salman, aka Noor Mateen, has revealed to the FBI that she was aware of the attack ahead of time, and had tried to talk her husband out of it.
