Earlier this month, OVO mysteriously announced a new group named dvsn, without really announcing much of anything at all. It seems we’ll know a bit more about the singers come April 1, however, as we’ll be getting their debut project, Sept. 5. The 10-track project will contain the four songs they’ve previously released via SoundCloud, but no features are listed just yet – if there are any at all. Drake Signs DVSN To OVO Sound
It appears that OVO Sound has added another name to its roster. Joining the likes of Majid Jordan, PartyNextDoor, iLoveMakonnen and more is R&B act dvsn. Drizzy really likes his singers, huh? There are many signs pointing to the signing, as Complex points out: – 40 shared a photo of the dvsn logo on Instagram – All of dvsn’s music is now listed under copyright through OVO Sound/Warner Bros on iTunes And, much like previous OVO and OVO-affiliated acts (like The Weeknd,) dvsn is shrouded in secrecy and we don’t have too much info on who it is/they are. Complex is thinking OVO producer Nineteen85 is involved somehow, though, as he tweeted, “The line with the two dots,” (the dvsn logo,) just after 40 posted it on Instagram. They also believe Toronto vocalist Daniel Daley could be involved. We’ll keep you updated!

Album “Views from the 6” is set to drop 2016 with no specific release date which leads us to question, are we getting a new single off the album? are we getting the entire album? 6:37PM IT’S HERE! iLoveMakonnen Gives An Update On His Relationship With Drake
When singer iLoveMakonnen’s song “Tuesday” started gaining traction in 2014, Drake saw an opportunity, and not only hopped on the official remix, but signed Makonnen to his OVO Sound imprint as well. Since then, however, we haven’t seen or heard much about their relationship, and Makonnen‘s buzz has simmered down rather substantially as well. Unsurprisingly, this led to rumors ranging from beef between the guys and even contracts being terminated, but in a new interview with FADER, Makonnen provided an update on it all. “It’s cool,” he said of his status at OVO. “They put out my music and stuff and we just keep it moving. Let them tell you their relationship with Makonnen. I’m just an artist, being an artist, and there’s only so much that I can do.”
Majid Jordan Announce Album Release Date
So – I just found out that Majid Jordan isn’t one person. It’s two people. Mind. Blown. They’re right up there with Travis Porter and Pretty Ricky…stop confusing us! LOL! The OVO duo has now announced that their debut album will be out February 5, and it will be self-titled. The 12-track project will feature the previously-released “Something About You,” as well as “My Love,” which features their OVO boss, Drake. Above is the cover art. Will you be checking for this?
