Pascal Duvier had been the head of Kim and Kanye’s security team since 2012, and was often praised by the famous couple for his quality work. Unfortunately, they decided to let him go after Kim was robbed in Paris, because they felt it was just too much of a risk to keep him around. It is to be noted, however, he was not on duty for Kim at the time, and instead accompanied her sisters to a local club to protect them as Kim went to sleep for the night.

Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her hotel room last night, and it has many people asking – where was her security? That question has now been answered. TMZ reveals that her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, was actually shadowing Kourtney and Kendall, as the ladies wanted to hit the club, and Kim was just staying in her room for the night. Ironically, Kim had JUST posted a photo of her with Pscal behind her, joking that he always gets in her shot. Thankfully, Kim wasn’t hurt, but I wonder how things may have gone differently if Pascal was around!
