Congrats to our good friend Pharrell, who received a nod for his song “Happy,” as it was used on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack! Pharrell Scheduled To Join Bruno Mars’ Moonshine Jungle World Tour
I’m not sure if Bruno Mars understands the concept of, ‘taking a break’. The “Gorilla” crooner has been hard at work with his “Moonshine Jungle World Tour” in 2013, and the tour will continue this year, beginning in February. Bruno will hit Australia, Asia and Mexico, but of course we’re more excited about his North American stops. The tour will begin, April 18th on his home territory of Honolulu, HI at the Blaisdell Arena and end August 17th in Englewood, CO at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. Fans can expect a soulful Bruno as well as Pharrell and Aloe Blacc (“The Man“) – neither of the later scheduled for all stops. Yippie, I can’t wait! Tickets go on sale for all dates, February 3rd. Official Coachella 2014 Lineup Announced: Outkast, Nas, Pharrell, Beck, A$AP Ferg & More!
The official lineup for this year’s annual Coachella festival has been announced, and it’s going to be a good one! As previously speculated, Outkast is BACK and will be hitting the stage, as well as Nas, Pharrell, Beck, A$AP Ferg and so many more! The dual weekend format is still in place, going down the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21. Most advance tickets are already sold out as they went on sale almost a year ago, but a limited quantity of general admission weekend passes will go on sale this Friday, January 10, at 10 a.m. on Coachella’s site. After getting “Happy” with the new Beats By Dre ‘Beats Pills,’ Pusha T and longtime friend and collaborator Pharrell linked up once again…this time in a Miami studio, and Pharrell’s Neptunes co-pilot Chad is with him! Push revealed in December that he and the iconic production duo would be locking themselves in the studio for 20 days straight this month, locked and loaded for King Push, the follow-up to Pusha’s debut album, My Name Is My Name. I’m so excited to hear what comes out of these sessions!
