NFL: Johnny Manziel Says He’s Not Ready To Start Against the Steelers in Week 1

Johnny Manziel has quite a bit of pressure on him.  Not only is he a rookie competing against Brian Hoyer for the starting quarterback position on the Cleveland Browns, he also has a lot of people expecting him to fail as they criticize his party lifestyle.  There are people who think Manziel could and should start week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers but he admits he’s not ready.


NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers Will Lose a Draft Pick For Mike Tomlin Incident

That foot is costing Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin big time!  During a game against the Baltimore Ravens, Tomlin stuck his foot onto the field during Jacoby Jones kickoff return.  Tomlin was fined $100,000 but the league decided that wasn’t enough.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers are facing the loss of a draft pick and a huge fine for the Mike Tomlin incident, the internet is of course having fun with it.  Tomlin was caught on camera with his foot on the field as Ravens kick returner Jacoby Jones ran the down the field.  Tomlin came extremely close to tripping Jones and impeding the play, an act that can cost him and the Steelers big time.  While the NFL is reviewing the incident, the internet has come up with hilarious memes of Tomlin’s crafty footwork.

As hard as it is to imagine, Ben Roethlisberger’s time with the Pittsburgh Steelers might soon be coming to an end.  NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Big Ben is “incredibly frustrated” with the direction of the franchise, according to Steelers sources. It’s not just coordinator Todd Haley, but the entire offensive staff that has the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback discouraged.
