NFL(Video) Crazy! Steelers Player Stabbed During Attempted Robbery

Steelers lineman Mike Adams is currently in the hospital after being stabbed earlier this morning in Pittsburgh. Not many details have been released as of yet, but apparently he was stabbed during an attempted robbery. From his hospital bed he wrote on twitter he felt lucky to make it out alive. “I had an angel looking out for me!” Adams wrote. “I’ll be ok just gotta fight to get back harder then ever.” The second year player had a very solid rookie season last year, starting 6 games and playing in 10 games total. He is expected to make a full recovery, which everyone will be thankful for.


NFL: 5-Time Pro Bowler James Harrison Says Goodbye As He’s Released From the Pittsburgh Steelers

For days, it’s been clear the Steelers and James Harrison weren’t getting anywhere in talks about lowering his salary/cap hit.  So now the inevitable has apparently happened, with Harrison tweeting out his goodbye to Steelers fans.  Read more after the jump.


NFL: James Harrison Aiming For Knees Now!

James Harrison is just tired and fed up with getting fined by the NFL for “illegal” hits to the head. So from now on, he is aiming for the knees! I don’t really know what is worse. Hits to both places can end a career, but I do get the point Harrison is trying to make. Nowadays in the NFL, the slightest hit to a players head will bring a fine, and maybe a suspension, so Harrison is just trying to make a point. I hope he really won’t be aiming for any players knees.
