(Video) No Charges For Cop Who Killed Unarmed 19 Year Old Tony Robinson

Just a couple months ago, in March, Tony Robinson Jr. was shot and killed by Officer Matt Kenny. Kenny was responding to a call about a possible assault when he met Robinson, and a struggle occurred. According to Officer Kenny, he was forced to use deadly force, although the 19 year old was unarmed. Today, the District Attorney of Dane County in Wisconsin announced that no charges will be filed against the officer.


Breaking News: 4 Shot, 1 Killed During Mother’s Day Bike Blessing In Newark

The sound of gunfire could be heard Sunday, in the South Ward section of Newark; as the Newark Knights motorcycle club gathered for it’s annual Mother’s Day Blessing event. Authorities say one person is dead, and at least three are wounded.

Today in Washington a huge group of mothers marched their way to the U.S Capital in efforts to demand change across the nation for all police departments to abide by the same rules and regulations and to most importantly put an end to police brutality. Most of these women have endured their children being injured or killed by police. Maria Hamilton, whose son was killed by a Milwaukee officer last year organized this march in which they are calling “Million Moms March Against Police Brutality”. (Video) D.C. Council Member Proposes Bill To Redefine Assault On A Police Officer!

It seems as though the Freddie Gray riots have inspired reform within police tactics. Council Woman Mary Cheh has proposed a bill to change current legislation, which she believes is too broad in describing “Assault On A Police Officer”. She says the Chief of Police backs her in her efforts to stop the unfair amount of serious charges associated with minor actions.


Tamir Rice’s Mother Reportedly Forced To Enter Homeless Shelter

Sad news out of Cleveland this morning. It is being reported that Tamir Rice’s mother has been forced to move to a homeless shelter, as police attempt to delay the lawsuit the Rice family has filed for the wrongful death of 12-year-old Tamir. The City of Cleveland has asked the Rice family to halt their civil lawsuit until the official investigation has concluded, stating that delaying the lawsuit will protect the two officers involved in the shooting from making statements now, before knowing if they’ll be charged with a crime. However, the Rice family has filed a response saying they cannot wait any longer.


Isreali Protest Against Police Brutality Turns Violent

The protest in Tel Aviv over police brutality of Ethiopian Jews has turned violent Sunday. According to police officers, 57 officers were injured. Read more about this issue after the jump.
