NFL: Jets’ QB Geno Smith: “I’ve shown flashes of being a Pro Bowl-caliber quarterback”
The New York Jets are currently 2-11 and have decided to go back to Geno Smith at starting quarterback. At this point, they really have nothing to lose. They already know what Mike Vick can do, they might as well play Geno to see if they can help him improve or if he’s a total loss. Well Smith seems very confident in himself and says he’s even shown flashes of Pro Bowl quality in the past.

Does anyone really care about the Pro Bowl? Is it a big deal that it won’t be in Hawaii this upcoming season?! What a guy that Deion Sanders. During the 4th quarter of the Pro Bowl on Sunday, a female bikini clad streaker took the field. With no security to be found, she got to run around for a good amount of time. For the most part, any fan that runs onto a field or court during a game is going to jail. They don’t play when it comes to the safety of players and the general public. BUT this time, the girl got lucky. Deion Sanders was able to keep her out of jail — after he found WHY she did it….

The Pro Bowl hasn’t been exciting for a VERY long time. So the NFL tried to make it exciting by creating a draft system. I wasn’t mad at it. I’m just happy to have another week of football even if it isn’t the most exciting game. Just another reason to have the fam together with some delicious food & trash talk.
