This is not okay!!! “Gangnam Style” singer Psy hit the jackpot for his most-viewed video, and reached instant celebrity status while doing so. But it has recently been found that Psy has an anti-American past, where he would attend anti-American rallies and protests where he would vocalize his strong hatred towards Americans. Tech Talk News: Psy’s “Gangnam Style” Cashes In On Youtube!!!!
“Gangnam Style” style is quickly approaching 1 billion video views, you would think Psy would have cashed in on record sales. Think again Psy will net $7.9 million from ads on Youtube but will only earn approximately $60,000 this year from actual record sales in Korea. The song is currently available on iTunes for $1.29 but Apple takes 30% of that. Psy will probably make most of his money though endorsements and appearances this year. Even he’s sold more than 3 million singles and sold 100 in physical CD sales (he gets about 9 percent cut from that) the Youtube checks will probably be greater. Yungjohnnybravo x TatWZA

The other day I realized I have yet to watch PSY’s “Gangnam Style” video, actually I hadn’t hear the song previous to the AMAs and apparently I’m one of a very small amount of people who haven’t watched the video. PSY’s video has now become the most viewed YouTube video, ever. The world wide hit “Gangnam Style” currently has 803,761,928 on YouTube surpassing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” The song even reached the #1 rap song in the country.
