(Video) And The Push Backs Begin: Lil Wayne’s ‘Carter V’ No Longer Coming Out On May 5th

Not too long ago, Drake announced on stage that Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated Carter V (what’s set to be his ‘last’ album) would be released on May 5th. Though we know it’s definitely in the works, we may have to wait a bit longer. With no further information given, Tune’s longtime manager Cortez Bryant said in a new interview that May 5th will NOT be the day we get our hands on Tha Carter V. HOWEVER – the guys have previously sort of alluded to a surprise release…so could that be the case? Hmm!


J. Cole Pushes Sophomore Album Back

We haven’t seen or heard too much from J. Cole the past few months, though we did get a new album announcement and its first single, Miss America. Originally slated for a January 28th release date, J. Cole revealed on NYE that Born Sinner has been pushed back.
