Talk Of Peace Negotiations Are In The Air Between U.S. And The Talibans!

If your personality is anything like mines, then you’d think that this was a set-up from a mile away! It may be on our part, it may be on their part, but this looks #SHADY! The Taliban are making efforts into coming to some sort of common ground with President Obama to end the war in their country. The group announced the opening of a political office in Qatar and said they were willing to talk. Just one year ago this same attempt at peace negotiations were denied by the Talibans stating that the U.S.’s attempt at negotiations were in bad faith. The war in Afghanistan has lasted for over a decade, and for some, there seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Hit the jump to see what Obama had to say about all this.

American Basketball Player Being Held Hostage In Qatar!!

This is scary that this is actually going on as I type this and that teams in other countries are actually able to do this. Marcus Campbell, who is a former player in the NBA D-League, is being held hostage in Qatar. He signed a contract to play for a professional team there, but from day one nothing has gone has promised in his contract. The team has released him, forced him out of the apartment they set up for him, have refused to give him his exit visa so he can leave the country, and he has no money. This is dangerous and I hope the international community gets involved ASAP! In fact it may already be happening. Click the link below after the jump for the full story. IamJOE357

(Photos) Kanye West & Kid Cudi Head To The Middle East To Shoot A Video

Not sure what these guys are up to but according to Nav, more of the GOOD Music family than just pictured here are out in Qatar for a top secret video shoot. Teyana Taylor, Pusha T and one of Yeezy’s entourage members all tweeted (with some deleting) about heading on “long flights”. Could the “Mercy” vid be on its way? Hmm! More pics below, and we’ll keep you updated as we know more! Marisa Mendez

Auto Talk: Bugatti showcases the Bumblebee of Veyrons in Qatar

With a gazillion color options for every little part of the Bugatti Veyron, there’s no reason why any two examples should be alike. (Except for maybe an inverse correlation between wealth and imagination.) So it would stand to reason that every Bugatti should be considered a special edition of one. And that certainly appears to be the case, as the French marque seems to bring out another special edition at every possible opportunity. Funk Flex

(Video) Auto Talk: When your country floats on oil, your police drive only Porsches

Qatar’s police force has a sizable fleet of Porsche Panamera and Cayenne patrol vehicles at its disposal. How is this? Well, Qatar has lots of oil, for starters, so there’s that income. The emirate also holds a 17 percent stake of preferential shares in the Volkswagen Group. So, it’s not particularly hard to see how the stable of luxo-cop cars came to be. The force took them for a spin on December 18, Qatar National Day, and you can get a look at the coolest fleet in the video after the jump. Funk Flex
