NBA: Carmelo Explains Why Nobody Helped Quincy Acy During Scuffle With Wizards

Many people noticed that when the Knicks Quincy Acy got into a scuffle with John Wall yesterday during the Christmas day game that nobody in a New York jersey came rushing to the aid of Acy, but meanwhile there were multiple Wizards players surrounding Wall basically soon as it happened. Teammates can’t start throwing punches unless they wanna get suspended, but they couldn’t at least have his back a little better? Carmelo actually spoke on what that is.

NBA: Report, Quincy Acy Suspended One Game, John Wall Fined $15,000 For Fight

Quincy Acy and John Wall will both pay for their roles in a small skirmish yesterday during the Knicks vs Wizards game. In the fourth quarter the two got in each others face with Wall trying to push Acy which really didn’t work. Acy then went to punch Wall but thought better of it in a split second and instead tried to just shove him with a forearm. Acy will receive a one game suspension which will cost him a pretty penny, and Wall won’t be suspended but will be fined $15,000. At the end of the day neither was worth it but in my opinion Wall made the situation bigger than it was.

(Video) NCAA: Crazy! Monster One-Handed Dunk By Tournament Star Quincy Acy!

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl & @DJMatthewTyler Baylor’s Quincy Acy has a reputation as one of college basketball’s most powerful dunkers, so it was no surprise to see the senior forward deliver several of the tournament’s best slams during Friday night’s 75-70 win over Xavier. Acy one-upped himself early in the second half with a one-handed alley-oop tip slam over 7-footer Kenny Frease off a baseline inbound pass.  It’s crazy!  Check it out after the jump…
