The Tau Kappa Epsilon frat from Arizona State University has been suspended after a bunch of ignorant and EXTREMELY racist photos surfaced from their “MLK Day” party. A bunch of white kids who were at the party posted flicks on Instagram wearing sports Jerseys, holding watermelon cups, and throwing up gang signs. I don’t understand what is wrong with some people. I thought the interview was great, some of you need to stop judging. Be happy that the man just won the BCS National Championship. Geeeeez-us. A lot of this controversy stemmed from Dee Dee McCarron’s tweet asking if she was listening to English as Winston gave his speech. SMH. She quickly deleted the tweet, but it was too late and many are calling her racist. She later apologized. NFL: Darnell Dockett Makes Racist Joke, Fans Get Angry, He Doesn’t Think He’s Wrong. Should He Apologize?!
I see both sides of this, but since he is a public figure I think Darnell should apologize. I do believe that people are way too sensitive. I’m Persian & have heard all kinds of “bomb” jokes. It doesn’t bother me. It’s one thing when something is said in a malicious way, but it’s another when it’s a joke. Well over the weekend Dockett took to Twitter to make a joke about Chinese people. 25-year-old Candid Doss reportedly called a Detroit Limo Party Bus that she found via Craigslist to book her mother’s birthday celebration with them. She claims during the phone call with the company, the call lost service and was dropped. Moments later, the company allegedly sent the African-American woman a racist text.
