NBA: Shaq Inks His First Endorsement Since Retirement

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Shaq was a two-time All-American and two-time SEC Player of the Year, and he received the Adolph Rupp Trophy as the NCAA’s top hoopster in 1991. He left LSU to go pro before his senior year but returned to get a B.A. With those kinds of collegiate credentials, maybe it’s appropriate that he’s one of the new trio of basketballers who will be featured in a “Journey to Comfort” campaign for the Dove Men+Care personal products line that will make its debut in time for March Madness next year.

UFC 137: Yikes Nick Diaz Punched BJ Penn Right Into Retirement

Nick Diaz punched BJ Penn straight out of mixed martial arts competition on Saturday.  Diaz won a unanimous decision against Penn by keeping the fight standing to batter him with punches for the last two rounds of the main event of UFC 137 in Las Vegas. NBA: Muggsy Bogues Reveals Generous Gift From Mark Cuban

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Deserved or not, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has acquired somewhat of a lousy rap. Over the course of his 11-year ownership of the Mavericks, he’s been accused of a lack of common sense, of insider trading and has lost over $1 million in fines for actions or comments deemed inappropriate by the NBA. But for every negative associated with Cuban’s name, there is an equal or greater positive. Just ask former NBA player Muggsy Bogues.
