Stuart Scott may physically be gone after fighting cancer until the end. but his memory, especially with sports fans, will live on forever. Yesterday ESPN made sure you won’t be able to walk through the halls without thinking of him as they unveiled a huge plaque in Scott’s honor and his daughters were on hand for the event. Stu’s catch phrase of “Boo-Yah” was given eternal life when they revealed the plaque and I must say they did a great job. Respect to ESPN for the classy move and as always, RIP Stuart Scott. After the Knicks announced Mason had passed away yesterday, people from around the league such as Lebron, Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Reggie Miller & more passed their condolences along to Mason’s family and many people on social media in general were talking about their favorite memories of one of the truly good guys in Knicks history. The support continued into the night and today with guys like Melo, KD & Iverson sending their love. Regardless of age, if you enjoy basketball, you could relate to Anthony Mason. RIP! Even when you have an idea that things do not look good for someone you care about, when they pass on to the other side, the feeling of loss is still the same. In honor of fashion week: R.I.P. to Koos van den Akker. The “master of couture collage” is notably known for his design of the wild n’ crazy sweaters worn by Bill Cosby. No matter how one may feel about Cosby at the moment, there will forever be three things he’s know for; 1. pudding 2. comedy and 3. THOSE SWEATERS. Koos van den Akker, who has passed at the age of 75, is the man to thank for the latter. More after the jump.
