Statik Selektah’s new album Lucky 7 has gotten a lot of attention in recent weeks. The Massachusetts-born producer rounded up a star-studded squad of emcees to throw down on his seventh and “final” album. Last night (July 6), Statik held a private listening session and revealed some interesting details about the making of the album. Jhene Aiko told you on Omarion’s “Post To Be“: “You gotta eat the booty like groceries!” Inspired by the singer’s now-infamous song lyric, Rob Markman and MTV linked up with the Cali crooner for some good ol’ grocery shopping at the supermarket, and talked about her inspiration for the lyric, what she buys when she does her own grocery shopping, what she likes to cook and YAMS! (Video) Kid Ink Goes ‘Full Speed’ At The Race Park Against MTV’s Rob Markman

Keeping with theme of Kid Ink’s forthcoming album Full Speed (in stores February 3,) MTV’s Rob Markman brought the California rapper to Pole Position in Jersey City, NJ to hit the race track in their go-karts. On the line for the winner? Well if Rob was to win, Kid Ink would have to make a song called “Rob” produced by DJ Mustard and featuring Chris Brown. If Kid Ink was to win, Rob owes him an MTV article. Find out what happens below!
