The late Robin Williams was finally laid to rest today in San Francisco six weeks after his death! The funeral was attended by celebrities, family and friends. Some people in attendance included Lance Armstrong, Whoppi Goldberg, Ben Stiller, Joel Mchale and many more! Robin Williams will be honored at this year’s Emmy Awards. The producer of the show, Don Mischer, confirmed the comedian’s long time friend, Billy Crystal, will lead the tribute. The duo starred together in the 1997 film “Father’s Day” and remained close ever since. On the day of William’s death, Crystal tweeted “no words” and has not spoken publicly about the tragedy. A week ago, actor Robin Williams’ shocked the world by committing suicide. Numerous questions came about as to whether or not the suicide was premeditated or not. However, sources close to the late comedian say that his death was completely spontaneous. Just hours before his death, they said Williams’ was talking business and new business endeavors with them– something that someone who is planning to end their life usually does not do. According to the source, Robin was often unhappy and always “lived in a dark place” but it was nothing out of the ordinary. His wife and daughter also had no idea suicide was an issue being considered in his head. So tragic!
