RUN-D.M.C. To Be Honored With A Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award

Run-D.M.C.; Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Joseph “Reverend Run” Simmons and the late Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell have been announced at the 2016 recipients to receive a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The “It’s Tricky” trio are the first rap groups to receive the honor. “Each year, The Academy has the distinct privilege of honoring those who have greatly contributed to our industry and cultural heritage, and this year we have a gifted and brilliant group of honorees,” said Recording Academy President and CEO Neil Portnow in a press release. “Their exceptional accomplishments, contributions, and artistry will continue to influence and inspire generations to come.” Hit the jump for more.


Yeah Man! Run-D.M.C. Is Making A Come Back !!!

If you’re in Atlanta, you’re a lucky person. For the first time in more than 10 years, Run D.M.C. will be performing in Atlanta for the Atlanta Braves’ 2013 Summer Concert Series. June 1st, after the Atlanta Braves play the Washington Nationals, the group that made Addidas the thing to have will be the featured act. 10 Years Later, Cops Still Discuss Murder Of Jam Master Jay
