NFL: Ezekiel Elliot TD Celebration Triggers 61% Increase in Salvation Army Donations

Like Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, the Salvation Army should give Ezekiel Elliott an award because his stunt has triggered an increase in donations as expected.  The Cowboys running back jumped into a Salvation Army kettle as a celebration after scoring a touchdown during their win over the Bucs on Sunday.

NFL players have done some crazy touchdown celebrations in the end zone, but Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot may have taken the cake when he jumped into an oversized Salvation Army kettle after his franchise-record-setting 13th rushing touchdown of his rookie season.

Officials are claiming that the explosion was due to a natural gas leak, contrary to earlier reports that it may have been caused by Con Edison.
