Shooter Dead & 2 Injured After Open Fire At TX High School

A shooter opened fire at Alpine High School this morning, injuring one person before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide. A police officer was later also injured, as a marshal accidentally shot him while responding to the incident. The conditions of the police officer and the other victim are not known yet at this time. Early reports said that two shooters were on the looser, but the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office has since updated their report, assuring the community that the initial shooter is dead, and no others were being sought.

Scholarship Named In Honor Of Seattle Shooting Hero!

After a student at Seattle Pacific University took down a gunman with just some pepper spray and the will to save lives last Thursday (June 5th) the president of the university announced an engineering scholarship named in his honor at the University’s graduation today. (Video) Update: Arapahoe School Shooting Victim In “Wrong Place At Wrong Time.”

The 17 year old victim, that had been shot point blank in Arapahoe High School, has been identified as Claire Davis. Police report she was not a target for Karl Pierson, but was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
