I haven’t decided how I feel about this yet, the N-word has a lot of history behind it. Andddd I know people that use the word thug and it doesn’t have anything to do with a person’s race. What I do think is that people have been unfairly criticizing & judging Richard Sherman. I don’t think he did anything wrong. I think he was just being passionate about the game. Yes, I know — there are some that will totally disagree with me and I’m good with that. During a press conference yesterday Sherman addressed some issues from his postgame rant from the NFC title game including that he thinks ‘thug’ is an accepted way of calling someone the N-word.
