Noted basketball fan President Barack Obama was happy to be home in Chicago to watch his beloved Bulls take on the Cleveland Cavaliers for the season opener.  Obama took his courtside seat toward the end of the first period, accompanied by his longtime friend, Chicago resident Marty Nesbitt.

(Photos) NFL: Easy Work! Richard Sherman Was Very Bored During Season Opener, Here’s Why

There is nothing worse than being excited or amped up for something, only to be disappointed when the moment actually arrives. That is exactly what happened to Richard Sherman last night in the NFL season opener as his Seahawks took on the Green Bay Packers. Going against a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers had Sherman excited to play against that high level of competition, but instead he found that he could of stayed home in bed and watched on television. Seattle won easily 36-16, and part of that reason was because Rodgers never even looked to the side of the field where Sherman was lurking. Check out the graphic after the jump. In the end, Rodgers was probably pretty smart for not throwing in Sherman’s direction.

I wonder why we didn’t see Lil Wayne sitting next to Birdman & Khaled?  I didn’t even know Weezy was there!  At least we know he’s feeling good enough to hit up a game! Lil Wayne surfaced in his court side seats for the Miami Heat season opener — despite his recent health crisis — but he had to trade in his private jet for a luxury bus to make the return trip.
