Eric Garner’s Family Will Receive $5.9 Million In Settlement With NYC

As the anniversary of the tragic death of Eric Garner approaches, New York City has finally reached a settlement agreement with the family of Garner. The city will be required to pay the family $5.9 million opposed to the $75 million for wrongful death they were planning on suing for if a decision was not reached by July 17th. Read more below.
