Though some were doubtful, it looks like LeBron James has an eye for talent because Shabazz Napier is performing well in the NBA just like he said. On Monday night as the Heat beat the Nets 95-83, Napier showed off his ball handling skills by making both Deron Williams and Kevin Garnett look silly.

It looks like someone is salty — some would also say petty or bitter. UConn’s Shabazz Napier was traded to the Heat shortly after being drafted by the Hornets in the first round of the NBA draft. LeBron sent out a tweet saying Shabazz was one of his favorite players in the draft, so many thought it would convince LeBron to stay with the Heat (obviously it didn’t work out that way). Last night the Miami Heat didn’t have a draft pick until #26 but they were able to make a move that MIGHT save their franchise. The Heat moved up two spots to #24 to draft UCONN point guard Shabazz Napier to possibly be the future of running the team. There was more to this move also however. Napier is a favorite of Lebron James who has complimented him in the past and even did it again last night after the pick was made. The Heat are hoping this could show Bron they are willing to do what makes him happy to stay. Hit the jump.
March Madness: Champions!! UConn Wins 2014 NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament
For the second time in three years, the UConn Huskies are on top of the college basketball world as they defeated Kentucky 60-54 to win the 2014 NCAA tournament. Shabazz Napier led UConn with 22 points as the Huskies won in a scenario you would of never imagined just a few weeks ago. They looked like a team that might not even make the tournament, let alone with in. The same plot played out in 2011 when Kemba Walker led UConn on an improbable run to the championship. It was a great game on both side, especially for two teams who nobody expected to be there. Congrats to coach Kevin Ollie and the 2014 UConn Huskies. It was definitely a crazy tournament.
