NBA Report: There’s a ‘Legitimate Chance’ Joel Embiid Could Miss the Entire Season Again

In each of the last two NBA Drafts, the Sixers selected what they hoped would be cornerstone big men in Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid.  While both are loaded with talent, the moves were criticized and viewed as being risky considering that both players were injured at the time and would need to miss the entirety of their first NBA seasons.  Things worked out according to plan with Noel, who showed all kinds of promise while appearing in 75 games last season. (Video) NBA: This Is Dope! Check The Trailer For The “IVERSON” Documentary

Showtime did a great job with the Kobe Bryant “Muse” documentary, so I only expect great things when they air the “Iverson” doc on May 16th. Allen Iverson’s impact on the NBA as a whole is still to this day very underrated, not too mention his greatness as a player. He never really had a great supporting cast and he never complained. He might not have liked “practice” so much, but when it was game time, he went harder than anyone and played much bigger than his 6 foot frame. Check out the trailer below.

He shared a picture of himself from 2011 compared to 2014 and you undoubtedly see the difference in size and weight. You can also see his skin tone is somewhat lighter as well and Joel had to make sure he pointed that out. Check the gallery!
