And There’s Yet Another Title Update For Kanye’s New Album

About a year ago, Kanye West announced So Help Me God as the title of his upcoming album. Since then, it’s changed to SWISH, then WAVES, and now…there’s just no title at all. And in true Kanye fashion, he appears to be planning something special. “There may be a new secret album title,” Ye tweeted at 1:30 this morning. And it excited people so much, it got 10,000 RTs in half a second…allegedly. I wasn’t awake to clock the stats, but according to Ye, that’s what happened. He’s also the one who wrongly said that Wiz lost 2 million followers during their “beef,” when he actually gained over 100k, so let’s take these numbers with a grain of salt. The album is due this Friday, February 11, so we’ll find out the title pretty soon either way!

Update: Oxford University Will Have The Pleasure Of Kanye West As A Special Guest Lecturer

Update: Mar. 2 3:01 p.m. When it comes to dreams, Kanye’s were always BIG. During his visit to Oxford University, in a 30 minute speil, West says that his goals were to be of a certain Spanish artist. “My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater. That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone who has done so much, and that’s a mentality that suppresses humanity.” He admits that if he could have made it to an art school, he would have done so. “If I could have done it again I would have gone to the art institute over the american academy.” Check out more of Kanye’s speech at the Daily Mail. Original: Mar. 2 11:44 a.m. Today, Kanye West will serve as lecturer for Oxford University. West will appear at the UK-based university’s Museum of Natural History according to Chairman of the Oxford Guild, Abbas Kazmi. Check out more after the jump.
